John Quick was an Australian politician. He represented Bendigo, Victoria, in the government from 1880 to 1889. He is considered a founding father of the Commonwealth of Australia. Quick was born on April 22, 1852, in Cornwall, England. In 1854 his family moved to Bendigo after gold was discovered there in 1851.
